Drummer Girl was born from a deep inner knowing… a quiet realization that not all healing is the same. There was a time when I felt disconnected from my body — my nervous system stuck in a constant state of fight or flight. I was moving through life, but not truly feeling it. I knew something had to change. I needed a way to ground… to return to myself… to feel calm, safe, whole.

That’s when I discovered the power of the medicine drum. From the very first beat, something shifted. It wasn’t just sound — it was a remembrance. The vibration created an immediate emotional release. The weight I had been carrying… released from my body. Because the truth is—your body keeps score.

As I began to study and explore, I learned that medicine drums have been used for centuries across cultures as powerful tools for healing, connection, and transformation. The steady, rhythmic beat of the drum speaks directly to the body — guiding the nervous system out of survival mode and into the parasympathetic state, where true healing begins.

This is the state of rest, digest, and repair — where the body softens, the breath deepens, and the mind becomes still.

Through a process called entrainment, the body naturally synchronizes with rhythm. Like the steady heartbeat of a drum, your brainwaves, breath, and internal systems begin to align with the frequency you receive. The chaos quiets. The body remembers safety. Balance is restored.

And then… everything changes.

Soon after, I was gifted my first set of crystal singing bowls. Another layer of healing. Another doorway opened. The combination of drum and sound became something more than a practice —it became a calling.

This discovery set my soul on fire.

I realized I wasn’t just finding tools… I was finding my purpose.

I’ve always known I have a big heart — a deep desire to help others feel seen, supported, and whole. But when I found the medicine drum and sound healing, I knew this path wasn’t something I created…

It was something that was illuminated for me.
