Sacred Drum Making Experience

Our approximately 4-hour Sacred Drum Making Experience combines creativity, mindfulness, connection, and hands-on learning as each participant creates their own handcrafted medicine drum.

Drum making naturally asks us to slow down.

There are moments that require patience. Moments when the lacing doesn't cooperate. Moments when we have to try again, ask for help, problem-solve, or let go of the expectation that everything needs to be perfect.

That's part of what makes this experience so powerful.

Participants are encouraged to practice:

Mindfulness • Patience • Self-compassion • Creativity • Problem-solving • Presence • Connection

Everyone is guided step-by-step, so no previous experience is necessary.

At the end of the workshop, each participant leaves with a beautiful handcrafted drum—and a tangible reminder of an experience they shared together.

Sound Bath Experiences

For groups that simply need an opportunity to stop, Drummer Girl also offers guided sound bath experiences for retreats and wellness events.

Participants get comfortable while layers of sound from crystal singing bowls, medicine drums, chimes, and other therapeutic instruments create a peaceful environment for intentional rest.

There is nothing to learn, perform, achieve, or get right.

Just an opportunity to be still.

Sound baths can be offered as a standalone experience or incorporated into a Sacred Drum Making Experience.
